A series of visuals that celebrate and promote the rich Colombian culture and the exceptional contributions of the Penn State Colombian graduate students community. These stories will highlight the professional and personal journeys of community members, emphasizing their deep-rooted culture and love for their country.
Background
The Penn State Colombian Graduate Students Community comprises professors, graduate students, and their families. This community is not only vibrant and diverse but also deeply connected to their cultural heritage. Over the years, we have helped them establish and create cohesive branding that reflects their identity and mission. The logo, inspired by the indigenous cultures of pre-colonial Colombia, particularly the Wayuu tribe, symbolizes a bridge between the past and the present, fostering curiosity and dialogue.

Through the Cultural Storytelling series, we aim to bridge the gap between past and present, culture and science, personal and professional. By sharing these powerful stories, we hope to ignite a passion for exploration and discovery, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of the rich heritage and remarkable achievements of the Penn State Colombian Graduate Students Community.
